Here was one of the FAQ from a producer letter during development. I believe it would be safe to say Unite is compatible with mobile!
Q: Can RPG Maker Unite Build Console Games?
A: Officially, RPG Maker Unite only supports a total of 5 Platforms - Windows / Mac, Android / iOS, and WebGL.
