Thank you for your continued use of RPG MAKER UNITE. We would like to inform you about the updates included in version 1.3.0.

◆Overview

In Version 1.3.0, we have addressed the change to the recommended Unity Editor version and implemented multiple bug fixes.

RPG MAKER UNITE has now reached two years since its release.

Until now, we have recommended Unity Editor 2021.3.16f1 for compatibility with RPG Maker UNITE; however, as time has passed, Unity itself and the build environments for each platform—one of Unity’s key strengths—have continued to evolve, making ongoing support increasingly difficult.

We considered publishing detailed build procedures that may have allowed continued use of the older version of Unity Editor, but ultimately decided to change the recommended Unity Editor version instead as it would be better for our community.

In our testing, we are pleased to report that we have seen no major issues with the switch to the recommended version 2022.3.62f3.

That said, we are fully aware that issues may still arise depending on individual user environments.

If you encounter any problems, we kindly ask that you report them via the support and inquiry form.

Support for Unity 6 is currently provided as a beta; however, due to its significant changes, full compatibility has not yet been achieved.

For the time being, we ask that you use version 2022.3.62f3.

As always, we will continue to improve functionality and provide a more user-friendly tool, while striving to respond promptly to bugs and feature requests.

We sincerely appreciate your continued support.
